SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Speech-Language Pathologist -
​
SLP needed to evaluate and treat all age patients with communication and swallowing disorders on an outpatient and inpatient acute care basis. Caseload is 70% infants/pediatrics and 30% geriatrics. This is an excellent opportunity to continue to expand your professional growth in all areas.
Qualifications Required:
Education: Must hold a Masters degree from an accredited program of speech/language pathology and have completed or have approval for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Experience:

Clinical experience with all ages is a plus.

Consider new graduate.

Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies is a plus.
-
Hospital experience is a plus.

CPR certification.
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
-
Must possess a high level of knowledge of diagnostic procedures in order to evaluate for a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders.

Must possess considerable knowledge of therapeutic principals/procedures, ability to develop treatment programs, and organize/prioritize daily treatment.

Must possess a high level of analytical ability and knowledge in order to interpret medical record information and testing results.

Ability to work holidays/weekends on a rotation.

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, physicians, family, co-workers and others.
Licensure/Certification:
-
Must hold a current license from the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology or a Georgia Paid Clinical Experience License (PCE).
